Woodstock Pride Art Shows
Last year, Woodstock Pride put on its first ever art show. This year, we’ve stepped it up with expanding our Community Art Show with an online auction and a new Art Exhibit.
The Community Art Show
Once again, the wonderful folks at Warp Corps will be hosting our annual community art show. This year, we also partnered with Makity Make for a fun community canvas painting event and artists of all backgrounds and talents were invited to pick up their own canvas at Makity Make and Warp Corps. What you see here is just a fraction of the art that will be displayed at Warp Corps.
The Community Art Show will be on display for the entire month of June at Warp Corps and from June 9th to the 21st, all pieces will be available for auction. All proceeds will go towards funding our future community center. Prospective bidders can use the QR code at Warp Corp or the button below to place their bids on their favorite pieces
The Art Exhibit
This year, Woodstock Pride is excited to be partnering with the Woodstock Opera House for a month-long exhibit featuring four prominent LGBTQIA+ artists from McHenry County. This exhibit will be open to the public from June 5th through July 3rd.
There will also be an Artists Reception at the Opera House on June 7th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm to celebrate the artists’ achievements and their impact in our community.
